Human training in order to acquire specific abilities is a research area that EUVE pays special attention to.
By applying analytical and virtual simulation procedures, we build all types of simulators that are suitable for training, making decisions, or as validation prototypes for building new systems.
One of the main areas of research that we perform in this field consists of coming up with training systems that are affordable for users, converging certain hardware with adequate features and optimized software; all of this is done by reducing the non-essential features or services in order to attain the training objectives.
Interconnecting simulators through different architectures and the ability to use XML within the HLA connection architecture is one of EUVE’s research initiatives.
We also develop e-learning systems in this area that are adapted to the latest technologies and individual learning needs. These systems go far beyond the mere placement of content in a computer format since they bring together technologies or areas of knowledge like digital television, virtual reality, intelligent avatars, and the use of intelligent tutors which enable the content to be adapted to the individual learning progress and enable you to automatically and subjectively assess the student's progress.
