EUVE’s research and development generally focuses on developing three basic technologies applied to different lines of work within each division:

• artificial intelligence
• interactive computer graphics and
• virtual reality

In addition, each division develops technologies within their field:

• Meteorology: Numerical modeling.
• Virtual Reality and Television: Advanced modeling software.
• Virtual Engineering:CAPE (Computer Aided Production Engineering), CAD (Computer Aided Design), CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing), and CAE (Computer Aided Engineering).
• Information Systems, Training, and ATD: CASE tools for software engineering, modules for generating knowledge based on fuzzy logic, SPP (Strategic Planning Prototype), TPP (Tactical Planning Prototype), Environment for generating e-learning mediums.
